- Plastic Waste: from the visible to the invisible

Plastic Waste: from the visible to the invisible, 2018.
Summary: According to a publication by Dr. Jenna Jambeck, every year, between 4 and 12 million tons of plastic waste reach the world's oceans, a consequence of poor household waste management by coastal populations. In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's economic capital with more than 8 million inhabitants, a research program was born from the awareness of a scientist from the Institute of Research for Development. For the first time, the impact of plastics on a tropical river in an emerging country has been documented.
